Sexual Counseling

A safe, affirming space to explore intimacy, desire, and sexual wellbeing.
Sexual Health is complex and deeply personal.
We create a safe, supportive space to explore emotional and relational factors alongside physical ones.

As a nurse practitioner and sex counselor, Emily knows that difficulties with sexuality and intimacy are common, yet lead to feeling broken or losing connection with yourself or your partner. But there are many effective ways to address these issues, and you don’t have to suffer alone.

Sex shouldn’t be painful or feel like a chore. It’s also normal for our desires to change throughout life’s seasons. Sexual issues stem from pain, mood/stress, childbirth, relationship issues, aging, or others, and I can help you identify and address causes, including how your hormones and life stage may be contributing. You deserve a fulfilling sex life.

My background in sexual medicine and sexual counseling provides a unique approach as each alone is seldom sufficient to address the majority of sexual issues that people experience. I use an approach that is compassionate, strengths based, non-judgmental and fun.

I specialize in counseling for sexual issues but I do not provide general counseling for individuals or couples.

¿How We Help?

Individualized, Physiology-Based Care

We treat perimenopause as a unique hormonal transition, not a one-size-fits-all diagnosis, using your symptoms, cycle patterns, and labs to guide care.

Thoughtful Use of Hormone Therapy

When appropriate, we use evidence-based bioidentical estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone to support both symptom relief and brain, metabolic, and sexual health.

Strategic Lifestyle and Metabolic Support

Care plans include realistic nutrition guidance, blood-sugar regulation strategies, movement recommendations, and sleep support to support hormones and improve energy.

Targeted Supplements with Clinical Rationale

Supplements are selected intentionally to support hormones, stress response, sleep, and nutrient repletion – never as a substitute for comprehensive care.

Time, Education, and Partnership

Visits allow space for education, questions, and collaboration so you understand what’s happening in your body and feel confident in your care plan.
